Cartlodge inspired accommodation

The Forge is set in the countryside of Tendring, a 6 minute journey by car to the beach Clacton On Sea. We have always been inspired by Tiny houses so we created our own compact bijou, a warm open space building that can sustain a 2 meter foot print set in the grounds of our country cottage. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and is completely new inside & out with light soft furnishings and a contemporary floral design bed linen to help you relax and enjoy a good night's sleep.

This lovely private cottage within 20acre gardens has 1 double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with single oven, 4 hobs, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, table and chairs making it suitable for longer or short stays. The bathroom has full size bath with power shower overhead, and the sitting room 2 double sofas, smart tv and wood burner giving the cottage a really cosy feel. Guests will have access to the well known Green Island Gardens and Colchester is only a 5 minute drive away.

Walkable to the local village of Thorpe Le Soken with its 3 pubs. Wake up to beautiful countryside views from your double bed with luxury linen bedding.

Secluded luxury yurt getaway in rural Essex

You and a loved one+ a couple of open-air rolltop tubs + a yurt = an excellent escapade to Essex. Forget your worries in this calm space. Our annex is detached from the main house and you have the run of the whole place. Set on 1/2 acre of land in the sweet countryside of Tendring Village with lovely farmland views. There is parking on a large drive. Please enjoy our spacious green garden where our chickens roam free. There's lots of walk’s nearby, including beaches just 15-20 mins drive. There is 1 large bedroom with double bed, with 3 small folding beds available on request.

A cosy cottage style property, ideal for couples or young families. It has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to unwind you from the moment you arrive. The hot tub is for exclusive use. It is surrounded by the beautiful Suffolk countryside, with walks on your doorstep. A mile away you will find a selection of shops, pubs/ restaurants, farm shop. The area boasts many places to visit, Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham, the coast at Aldeburgh and Southwold, Framlingham Castle and many more.

Bijou cabin next to the sea

The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.
