Oma's House is a peaceful retreat with historic charm, centrally located, and minutes away from the Abilene Convention Center, Downtown, SODA District, Abilene Christian University, and Hendricks Hospital North. The property features a large fenced in back yard, gazebo with outdoor seating and basketball court. Balls and chalk are provided for an impromptu game of hopscotch or four square. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

The cabin is located on a gated and fenced six acre property just outside of Buffalo Gap offering great security to our guests. It’s a quiet country place but only 10 miles from the Mall of Abilene. It’s very close to the Abilene state park, the historic village, Beltway Park Church, Wylie and Jim Ned Schools, and the world famous Perini Steakhouse. It is about 20 minutes from ACU or HSU. The property and surrounding area is great for walks and there is a Dollar General close by.

Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busy street with VERY limited parking. No pets due to allergies.
