Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Large 3 bedroom house near the eastern North Carolina wildlife refuges. The perfect place to enjoy bird/nature watching, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Minutes from Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, where countless Tundra Swan migrate for the winter. The house is near the riverfront town of Belhaven, that offers restaurants and public boat ramp options that provide access to the Pungo River and Pamlico Sound. The house is a short drive to Bell Island Swan Quarter Fishing Pier.

Historic 1875 farmhouse on a quiet Hyde County farm. Nearby Activities: Bear, Deer, Duck and Turkey Hunting, Bird watching at the Lake Mattamuskeet Wildlife Refuge, Fishing and Outer Banks. Location is 15 minutes from Foodlion Grocery Store, Spoon River Farm to Table Restaurant, The Tavern at Jack's Neck, Farm Boy's, The Bistro at River Forest Manor and Fish Hook's Cafe. Also 20 minutes to the Swan Quarter Ferry which takes you to Ocracoke and 1 hour 45 minutes to Nags Head, NC.

Swan Quarter is waiting for you at this 3-bedroom house. Inside, you'll find a soothing atmosphere with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds to ensure a tranquil night's sleep. Enjoy the pleasant living space with amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, AC, and heating. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. Whether you’re traveling to hunt, fish, or simply escape from daily life, make ‘The Boathouse’ your next home away from home. The Boathouse is recently renovated and well equipped. It offers on-site access to the Pungo River and Intracoastal Waterway. Sip your morning coffee on the deck or patio, then utilize the private boat ramp and head out on the water. Centrally located 10 mins from Lake Mattamuskeet, 5 mins from Ferry Station to Ocracoke Island, 1 hr to OBX. Perfect for hunters, fishermen, birding and families looking for a comfortable place to relax with a spacious, fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Stop for a few nights on the way to OBX or to catch the ferry. Dogs are NOT allowed any longer, but message me requests and I may consider pets outside or in enclosed porch with PRIOR approval and guidelines.
