The Waterhouse, Norfolk countryside

The log cabin is set in beautiful, scenic surroundings, the perfect place to unwind and escape the pace of everyday life. Nearby amenities include a newsagent, an Indian restaurant, and a pub, all within easy reach. The Waterhouse is just a 15-minute drive from both the Norfolk Broads and Norwich city centre, making it a great base for exploring the area. I’m available if you need any assistance. However, I always respect our guests’ privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay at your own leisure.

The Boathouse (unique, stylish, riverside studio)

A stunning, high-spec, studio boathouse, with its own mooring, right on the river. This detached, self contained, property sits on a private plot with its own driveway and private parking behind electric gates. Recently renovated to an exceptional standard, The Boathouse includes a full kitchen with appliances, underfloor heating and air-conditioning, a beautiful bathroom, an HD TV, and the most idyllic riverside setting you can imagine, with private terrace and mooring directly onto the river

Howard’s End

Howard’s End is a self contained single storey annexe with ample parking. It adjoins my home which was originally an Edwardian wheat store. Perfect for couples , a travel cot is available for a small child. 8 miles east of the beautiful historic city of Norwich with easy access to the famous Norfolk-broads as well as the lovely beaches of the East and North Norfolk coasts. A wonderful area for sailing , canoeing ,walking and bird watching. Two coarse/carp fishing lakes within walking distance.

Brindle Studio

You will love this self contained studio which is sunny in summer yet cosy in winter. Brindle studio has two private outside seating areas. One sunny courtyard garden and one cosy undercover area. Brindle studio has its own private entrance .The studio is attached to our home ( So some noise at times maybe heard ) although the adjoining door is locked giving you a private area. We have designed brindle studio to give you a feeling of security to enable you to have a relaxing time in Norfolk.

FLINT SHED Retreat nr Norwich, The Norfolk Broads

The Flint Shed near Norwich is a unique private space with Super King Sized Bed, double ended luxury Bath, Rain Shower, his and hers sinks and courtyard set in the grounds of a handsome Georgian house. Fully equipped Kitchen Diner, separate Lounge area and Netflix & Sky and board games. Located in the Norfolk Broads village of Stumpshaw with 2 pubs within 5 mins walk & close to Norwich. Perfectly positioned for the Norwich city centre, countryside & beaches. Private entrance and parking.

A tv and open plan kitchen, table and chairs . One bedroom, bathroom attached. Kitchen - Oven, fridge, microwave. 2 Parking spaces. The local Indian restaurant and pub are both within walking distance.

This peaceful hideaway was once the home of the Marshman who tended to the cattle grazing on the marshes. Perfect for walkers, Birdwatchers and nature lovers and those who love walking their dogs. Riverside pub is only a 10 minute walk away along the boardwalk and footpaths. Fully fenced garden.

The area boasts many places to visit, Bury St Edmunds, Lavenham, the coast at Aldeburgh and Southwold, Framlingham Castle and many more.

The cottage is set within our large, well maintained garden in a quiet rural location with private hot tub. The cottage is great for couples who just want to relax or as a base to visit the area. We didn't want it to be plain and ordinary so we hope whatever brings you here that you will find it different and extra special too. Number 20 is found in Thurton, within reach of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads and the coastline. Staying put is just as enjoyable! If you love being outside the country lanes and public footpaths that run through the active farmland make for some lovely walks. Or sit tight, stoke the fire and get cosy.
