Wheatlands Country House on historic Karoo farm

Wheatlands is a magical place! Experience the comfort and luxury of Wheatlands Country House which sleeps 10 guests in 5 spacious bedrooms. Built in 1912 this historic home boasts high, pressed ceilings, wood panelled walls, beautiful handcrafted stained glass windows, book lined corridors and antiques that have been collected through generations. We are a working wool and mohair producing Karoo farm in the heart of the Eastern Cape, situated 50 km south of the attractive town of Graaff-Reinet.

1830 Cottage on Langfontein Guest Farm

A charming and private cottage on Langfontein, a historic Karoo farm 50km outside Graaff-Reinet. The perfect spot to experience farm life in the security controlled Camdeboo Conservancy. Two spacious bedrooms and 1 small bedroom with single bed, 2 bathrooms both with showers and free standing baths, open-plan equipped kitchen, dining table, lounge area with a wood-burning fireplace. The cottage has a verandah with beautiful views. Vehicle with high clearance advisable when driving to the farm.

Fisherman's Cottage in the beautiful Karoo

Situated on the R400 dirt road between Jansenville and Somerset East, this cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The cottage is pet friendly and self-catering. There is no WiFi but there is cell reception. Some activities to keep you busy during your stay on the farm include: fishing, walking, bird viewing and cycling. The cottage is situated next to a dam. R300 PER PERSON PER NIGHT Children under 4 stay for free.

Geco Casetta - Self-Catering Cottage

Our comfortable self-catering cottage is situated on a farm, 30km from Graaff-Reinet. The thick walls are great insulators and keep the cottage warm in winter and cool in summer. There are two bedrooms and two additional single beds in the living area. Braai facilities are available out on a deck which also provides incredible views over the Tandjiesberg mountains and a farm dam with roaming springbuck. It is truly a break-away location. The sunrises are an added treat for the early birds.
