We absolutely loved our stay. Our two kids explored up and down the creek while my husband and I relaxed on the porch. The fireplace inside made us feel so cozy and we roasted s’mores on the outdoor fire pit! The sounds of the creek, especially as we went to bed, were also very welcome! Highly recommend the kayak rentals at River Girl and the chicken salad sandwich at the Mercantile! We would love to come back.

Location was great and everything was as described. There was a beautiful creek right on the property that you could hear, which added to the peaceful ambiance. The house is on the older side and there was a musty smell, especially in the lower level. Opening the windows helped to dissipate it. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it!

Stephanie was very quick to respond when I reached out to her. It’s a nice cozy home and will enjoy coming back!

We had an issue beyond their control, but Greg and MaryAnna went above and beyond to fix it and make sure the rest of our experience was great! This is the second time we’ve visited and we will definitely be back!! I can’t say enough about how their communication and how involved they are in making sure that e were taken care of! Cozy perfect mountain getaway! I was shocked by its proximity to Beech mountain ski resort, just two minutes down the road, yet it was nestled into the mountains in a quaint private area surrounded by nature. We saw tons of deer and even three black bears around the cabin, which were fun to see as someone who enjoys nature encounters while tucked away inside. The place itself was perfect, kitchen was fine and had what was needed, living room was comfy with a great couch and TV, fire place was amazing! Bed in the bedroom was comfortable, I got the best night of sleep I’ve had in a while. Even the shower was fabulous. Only downside was you could hear every footstep of the neighbors upstairs, nothing some ear plugs couldn’t fix though!

This place is an absolute gem 💎 the perfect place for a chill weekend getaway!

We loved the home. The weather was iffy with the winter storm coming in and we had to leave a day early. But that’s not her fault!!! The cleaning could have been better; especially the tops of furniture. And the water took forever to heat up in the master bath…all in all it was a great place in a great location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Views are beautiful in the snow!

Excellent place to stay!! The best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Had a gift basket for us with items to make s’mores and popcorn for the kids. Perfect place and well worth the money. The tub was amazing! I want one at my house. Everything about thus house was top notch. Very firm beds just in case anyone was wondering and lots of pillows and blankets to use if needed.

What a beautiful cabin!!!! We were there for a week trying to get some snowboarding runs in before the end of the season. The Cabin feels secluded and you have your own privacy. We enjoyed cooking everyday, looking out at the views from the sliding doors was so peaceful! We got snow twice and the cabin is so cozy. We had such a great time and the loft was great to work in and kids enjoyed sleeping up there. We loved the fire pit out back, we made s’mores, stargazed and the hot tub was so great after long days on the mountain snowboarding. Great memories were made and our host was excellent! I want to go back already!
