The Fox - Free Fishing, Pets welcome! - in Clare

Enjoy Free Fishing with your stay ! Pets are allowed. This is one of our two caravans located on the private land/fishery at the most picturesque part of Suffolk, UK. This is a unique and tranquil getaway. You will have 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room, and a terrace facing beautiful lakes. There are 5 acres for walks, securely fenced up. We charge an additional £30 for pets, service pets free of charge. Beautiful old small town Clare is just 0.5 miles away.

Cosy cabin for 2 with electric charging point

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

Stunning Lakeside Shepherd's Hut - Hot Tub & Sauna

A stunning shepherd's hut in a beautiful lakeside location. Set at the back of a working farm & equestrian centre the hut is well-appointed with modern decor. Visitors will have the use of the hut, stunning firepit & BBQ. A beautiful private wood-fired hot tub is attached for your exclusive use. There is also a sauna a few steps away. The lake is well fenced, secure & very private. Visitors are welcome to fish in the very well-stocked specimen Carp lake, with multiple fish approaching 40lb.

There is outside dining space on the terrace. Situated on the Essex/Suffolk borders between Clare and Haverhill with Cambridge 35 minutes drive and Bury St Edmunds 40 minutes. Perfect for exploring the Suffolk countryside, quiet working space, or a weekend break. Dogs welcome on request.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft offers recently built, luxury accommodation right in the heart of Clare. Perfect for couples, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery. NB we no longer accept bookings with dogs.

Wrenwood Cottage - quiet, riverside retreat

Wrenwood is a beautifully presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes' walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

2 Bed Cottage beside Clare Castle & Country Park

In the centre of mediaeval Clare, next to the Clare Country Park and river, Spring Cottage provides the perfect setting for you to explore the local area. The house has a sitting room, kitchen and a charming courtyard garden with small pond. Excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, unique shops and antiques are all within 100 yards. Upstairs are a double and single bedroom, and a bathroom with separate bath and power shower.

Central village location but tucked away. In the sitting room is a real log burner. Large 4 k television. There are 3 double bedrooms on first floor all with en-suite. Fresh Pizza menu available, and wine or Prosecco for guests staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Not far from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, village location offering two pubs in walking distance, very close to Clare, Long Melford and Lavenham.
