Visited from the U.S for our honeymoon and this was the perfect place! Located close to the center of the city, so we were able to walk anywhere we wanted while in Inverness! The Airbnb met every need we had, was cozy, and in a private location which was easy to locate! Parking was easy to find as well. Highly recommend staying there if visiting Inverness!!

Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

Location was ideal for exploring the area, lovely hosts who were on hand should we have any queries, flat itself was comfortable & cosy and had everything we needed. I'd go back to this property without hesitation

I’ve used Airbnb over the years and always balance out staying outside of the city center vs staying very close to places I want to go to. Carol’s home, while seemingly not close to the city center actually is - a very easy (and beautiful) 5 minute walk. Check-in was super smooth and while I’ve stayed in clean places this one truly was spotless. Besides being so well situated the place was quiet, comfortable and cozy. I loved having the windows open and listening to the birds. It was also remarkable in how well-equipped it was…it seemed like I had just appeared in someone’s home. There was nothing I had to do without. Water pressure and water temperature were both great (you never know with showers) and having a washing machine was fantastic since I was in Inverness for several days. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and am thrilled I chose well!

Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for the most blissful and memorable stay!!!

Ali was an excellent host providing clear instructions on how to get to the property. Once there the place was immaculate and right in the middle of Inverness with so much to do. I will definitely be booking again when back in Inverness.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The kids loved the horses next door, the lake was gorgeous and perfect to drink coffee by and it was so quiet and peaceful! Perfect getaway and Neil was amazing and responsive and even told us where some cool hidden places were! Would definitely recommend!!

This was a home of dreams! The space was beautiful and the views were gorgeous! It is a little farther out, but if you’re looking for a lovely countryside get away this is the place! Great for large groups too!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

Barry's & Heather's flat was ideal for our stay in Aviemore. Although it was close to all the central shops, restaurants & pubs, the location was peaceful and quiet. The flat had everything we needed, very clean bedding & towels, a comfortable living room & a very well equipped kitchen. The check-in & check-out instructions were clear & simple. There's plenty to do in & around Aviemore. We went for a walk from Glenmore and also hired bikes for an afternoon. A bit further way, we visited Tomatin Distillery for a fun & informative tour. We had meals and drinks at The Winking Owl and the Cairgorm Hotel, both within 10-15 minutes walk of the flat. We had a really enjoyable few days staying at the flat and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely quiet flat yards away from most of the action, including the bus and train stations. Provided with all the mod cons you would like in home away from home, including a washer/dryer, which is useful if you are packing light. Also the bath was a godsend for achy limbs after a day on the mountains.

Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.

We simply loved stayin at Innes place it was simply perfect n peaceful ….everything was almost walk-in distance away spl the castle n river ness …def recommend to stay wit family …

Alistair is a great host, from start to finish. He ordered our taxi when we were unable to get our phones to work. Due to flight delays we had been o the road for 38 hours, arriving well after dark. Even in the dark we easily found the keybox. His apartment was clean , comfortable and had beds that allowed us to have a good night's rest. Thank you Alistair, we highly recommend you and your apartment!

Very Cozy, near the Citycentre. We enjoyed some days in spring, cool adventures like Loch Ness only 30 min drive away. Cozy apartment with almost luxury furniture. We liked it very much!
