Vintage Forest Cabin in Storms River Branch & son

This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.

"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

Sunny deck to enjoy the views and a Fireplace to add atmosphere and warmth on cooler evenings. So close to town but quiet and private. Braai/Barbecue for outdoor cooking and dining on the many beautiful evenings. The reviews from all our guests say it all and 75% of our guests are discerning international travellers.

The Little Tin House

Enjoy staying in a comfortable, secure 1 bedroom cottage in a quiet area of Plett. The cottage is lovely & airy with a beautiful view of the green valley, all within walking distance of stunning beaches, restaurants & shops. As host, I make my garage available for secure parking. The sleeper couch is available for children under 10. Unfortunately, the sleeper couch isn't suitable for adults. I also am able to provide a baby's camping cot, should you so require.

The Nautilus House

The bird life in the morning will keep you curious. Enjoy picturesque walks to Salt river and lush forest meanders. Unwind and relax in the wood fired kol-kol tub while star gazing . The apartment is one of 12 Self Catering Apartments on the premises and gives you the "small boutique holiday resort" feeling. It is situated approximately 700m from Lookout Beach and 400m from Town Center. Perfectly situated for visitors who want to walk to the beach and restaurants. Please note that there is one swimming pool on the premises for the use of all guests. Loud music / noise / events / parties / is strictly prohibited.
