It retains a wealth of original character including the original cast-iron bread oven doors from its days as a bakery. Snuggle down by the wood burning stove or throw open the french doors onto the courtyard for a sunny al fresco bite to eat. Ideally located for exploring Cotswolds villages, Country estates, Blenheim Palace, historic Oxford, Bicester Village, Soho Farmhouse, Estelle Manor, Daylesford and more.

In an area of outstanding beauty, Masons Cottage overlooks a large country 1.5 acre garden which is shared with the owners. There is a spacious en suite bedroom with a king size bed, sitting room and fully equipped kitchen including grind coffee machine. The cottage is attached to the main house, but is totally self-contained. There is onsite parking and fast broadband. We provide a complimentary welcome pack, including eggs from our free range chickens and honey from the garden apiary.

Self-contained Annex

Our self contained annex is on two floors with a separate entrance. The ground floor has a kitchen and dining space, with fridge/freezer, cooker & washing machine together with the basic cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery. The first floor contains the large bedroom and en-suite shower room. There is a standard double bed, wardrobe, desk & chair. WiFi is provided. Situated at the entrance to a quiet cul- de-sac there is a bus stop outside and the train station is a 15 minute walk away.

Situated in a quiet location in the village of Stonesfield, Little Chestnut Cottage is a great self-contained base from which to visit Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxford and explore the Cotswolds. The village is just over an hour away from London yet surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are plenty of walks straight from the door across the picturesque Evenlode valley. Stratford is less than an hour away if you want to go a little further afield.
