The Fox - Free Fishing, Pets welcome! - in Clare

Enjoy Free Fishing with your stay ! Pets are allowed. This is one of our two caravans located on the private land/fishery at the most picturesque part of Suffolk, UK. This is a unique and tranquil getaway. You will have 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room, and a terrace facing beautiful lakes. There are 5 acres for walks, securely fenced up. We charge an additional £30 for pets, service pets free of charge. Beautiful old small town Clare is just 0.5 miles away.

Cosy cabin for 2 with electric charging point

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

Toppesfield Wine Centre is a contemporary ‘Scandi-style villa’ with a large open plan lounge/dining area which has a giant picture window overlooking Toppesfield Vineyard and full height glass sliding doors looking out onto a beautiful garden/ private patio with a large outside dining table and a luxurious day bed. It has a luxury bedroom with superking bed, view over the vineyard, luxury bathroom, tennis court and 4 person jacuzzi (2nd bedroom available via Airbnb 4 person listing)

Spacious, light and airy self contained apartment with one large bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and shower room. Separate driveway and entrance and is adjacent to the owners private property. There is outside dining space on the terrace. Situated on the Essex/Suffolk borders between Clare and Haverhill with Cambridge 35 minutes drive and Bury St Edmunds 40 minutes. Perfect for exploring the Suffolk countryside, quiet working space, or a weekend break. Dogs welcome on request.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft offers recently built, luxury accommodation right in the heart of Clare. Perfect for couples, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery. NB we no longer accept bookings with dogs.

Wrenwood is a beautifully presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes' walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

The cottage is a practical & sociable space for up to six guests with woodburner, central heating, instant shower & lux roll top bath. I host nearby an apartment for 4.

2 Bed Cottage beside Clare Castle & Country Park

In the centre of mediaeval Clare, next to the Clare Country Park and river, Spring Cottage provides the perfect setting for you to explore the local area. The house has a sitting room, kitchen and a charming courtyard garden with small pond. Excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, unique shops and antiques are all within 100 yards. Upstairs are a double and single bedroom, and a bathroom with separate bath and power shower.

Buntings Barn

Get away from it all and stay at a country retreat, complementary breakfast basket, water, tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits and snacks. Fresh Pizza menu available, and wine or Prosecco for guests staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Not far from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, village location offering two pubs in walking distance, very close to Clare, Long Melford and Lavenham.

This is a quaintly decorated very comfortable spot right in the heart of Castle Hedingham, with all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay. Within walking distance from the Castle, and all the country pubs in the village. Bread milk, butter, eggs and bacon provided on check in. Annexe Flat with off road parking. Not suitable for pets.
