Spitskop Plaashuis With magnificent views over the valley towards the town of Lydenburg, Spitskop is ideal for guests needing to break away from the hustle of city life. This beautiful upmarket, semi double storey home offers a working farm experience with goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens roaming around. Although there is no fishing at Spitskop, this venue is perfect for hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and of course relaxing! Great fun to be had in the farm dam during those hot summers.

This cabin has a double bed, bathroom en-suite with shower. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, microwave etc. The private patio overlooks our Trout Dam and is fenced off with private garden, so your pets are safe. Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening beside the crackling indoor fireplace, watching dragonflies skim across the water, or unwinding on the covered patio beneath the stars, Dragonfly Cabin offers the perfect setting to slow down and reconnect with nature.

Mount High Luxury Country Estate offers a fantastic getaway for families or groups, with a fabulous venue for weddings, parties, corporate events, and celebrations. En route to the Kruger National Park, it is idyllically located near Lydenburg on the Panorama Route. For the adventurous, the farm offers exceptional mountain biking and hiking routes as well as guided walks and picnics. The Guest House is on the Gold diggers pass and has beautiful views of private nature reserve (MACNR). The Spekboom River is a twenty-minute brisk walk from the Guest House. The first thing you’ll notice about the guesthouse is it’s spacious open plan kitchen, dining room through to the living room. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom have a double bed and the third bedroom two single beds.

Sedgehog is a small family cottage, ideal for a family of four looking for a rural escape in the African bush. The cottage features one downstairs bedroom with a king bed and one loft bedroom with two single beds, while the spacious living area is perfect for family games night. Sedgehog’s concertina doors can be folded open to expose the entire living space to a gorgeous hillside view, seamlessly blending the indoor and outdoor. This cottage is pet friendly.

The 'Ultimate Escape' - Silo Lodge

African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained.

The adjoining bathroom has a victorian bath with shower. Baskets of kindling and flowerpots all add to the charm.
