Situated 10 kilometres from Donegal Town looking down onto Donegal Bay and across to Sligo. Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.

Our location is central Donegal and is the perfect base for exploring beautiful countryside ,heritage and the Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage is located in Stragally Co Donegal between the towns of Ballybofey and Glenties which offer many shops pubs, restaurants, traditional music etc.

Our newest house boat the FP310 combines functional living with unrivalled views of Lough Erne. It comprises an open plan kitchen/dining room with a double sofa bed, bathroom, double bedroom and small single room ideal for kids. The space is sympathetically furnished and is perfect for a cosy getaway right on Lough Erne. You will have your own outdoor area complete with picnic table and charcoal bbq (fuel not inc)

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
