The Crows Nest has undoubtedly one of the best views of Whitby from every window, and right in the centre of the town. A cosy loft apartment overlooking the harbour, the abbey and out to sea. Close to some amazing fish and chip shops, tearooms and everything central. A short walk to the beach.There is free on street parking with scratch cards that we provide in the W zones which are within a 5min walk from the flat. There is a pub directly opposite which at weekends you may experience some noise

Wrap up warm and step outside with your dog to enjoy your exclusive dog field, then crunch through fallen leaves, wander forest trails and discover quiet valleys and windswept beaches. Find a cosy country pub for lunch before heading home to Woodpeckers Cottage. As dusk falls, put your feet up, enjoy the warmth and stillness, then step outside to marvel at the North York Moors Dark Skies.

Coach House Cottage a perfect seaside retreat

Coach House Cottage is an old Fishermans cottage above what used to be a stables and coach store (Now a dinosaur and fossil museum). Well situated, above the main street, in the lower part of Robin Hoods Bay it is moments from the beach, the dock, and the hustle and bustle of village life. The cottage is approached along cobbled alleys and/or up a series of stone steps. It is set in its own private back alley. Due to its location our much loved cottage is not for you if steps are an issue!

Summerfield bungalow is located just outside the village of Hawsker, midway between Whitby & Robin Hood’s bay. The bungalow is private, detached, not overlooked & is spacious, bright with stunning views from every window. From the front you can see Whitby Abbey and harbour, from the side there’s a lovely view of All Saints church approx 20 metres away & from the rear there are uninterrupted views of the Yorkshire countryside. The gardens extend to around a third of an acre and are secure.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! Kimberlina Carriage Ravenscar

The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

Hayburnbeck Farm House

This traditional farm house sympatheticly decorated, is peacefully located and surrounded by meadows where you can enjoy a relaxing break to explore Whitby Scarborough and the North York Moors National Park. With a private footpath directly to The Cinder Track, you can then walk to the Cleveland Way. The house is ideal for family or friends reunions, being dog friendly with no charge, also accpting multiple dogs. There is the benefit of dog shower and secure cycle store.

Our Woodpecker's Shepherd's Hut is situated on the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Scarborough & Whitby. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough being about a 15mins drive away & Whitby about the same. Our site is situated about a 2min walk away from the old Scarborough to Whitby railway ( Also known locally as the cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail.
