It is less than a 5min walk to Lee train station (zone 3); it's then a short train ride to Central London (13mins to London Bridge or 26mins to Charing Cross). Lee itself also has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and pubs (be sure to visit The Lord Northbrook at the end of the road).
