Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

The Nut House sits on a 200 foot bluff overlooking Table Rock Lake. We are part of the Emerald Beach community which is mostly retirees. The best part of this 3 BR 2 BA home is the 900+ SF deck. There is a charcoal BBQ grill, dining tables/chairs, and comfy lounge chairs on the deck for summer; for winter, an easy-to-light fire pit (wood included). Lake access/boat ramp is 1/4 mile down this street. Feel free to swim there. You may see deer, fox, and bald eagles in the area.

Swim, fish, crab & paddle board in the lagoon, then swim in the ocean & chill on the beach. Rinse off in the outdoor shower & enjoy the heated pool. FYI: pool heating costs extra: $50 per day (for 8 hours of heating - you pick the hours). You're welcome to use the Green Egg grill. We rent kayaks, a paddle board & a jet ski too.
