Welcome to the Colorado chapter of an Experience I hatched in California. It was so fun (well I thought so) that I outfitted a shop here to keep it going. The overall process takes about an hour per guest. We get to explore the fascinating and enjoyable process of folding a coin into a ring. The spoon ring process is similar and a bit simpler. I have lots of coins and spoons to choose from, which are included in your Experience. If you have a coin or spoon of your own, it is quite possible we can turn it into a one-of-a-kind treasure. Please make sure your coin is non-magnetic and at least the size of a quarter. Smaller spoons, like a demitasse, are much easier to craft into a ring. A commentary on children: While I'm sure your little darlings are brilliant, perfectly behaved and have an infinite attention span, they probably don't have the body mass or strength to effectively work the tooling. This is fuzzy math, of course, so I'll let you be the judge. You will be entering the No Tipping Zone so let's just make amazing things and tell lies without that concern hanging in the background. Imagine floating thru the epic canyons of the Rio Grande on a full day, fully guided, fully equipped trip. The Rio is mostly flat water for a scenic adventure. The river has class I rapids that is perfect for our first timers. Come learn and/or work on your boating skills. The water levels fluctuate and can influence what boats we take: rafts (we can row you down the river or everyone paddles), canoes, or kayaks. Throughout the winter season, the river is usually not more than thigh deep. Riding in a raft with all your favorite people makes for some fun pictures. We can row you down the river in a raft or if you/some/all want to paddle raft that is a great option too. At lower water levels we like to canoe and kayak. The canoes are 2 seaters with the option to ride smaller kids in the middle. The kayaks are single or tandem sit in or sit on top and are totally lots of fun. Weather also can influence what the choice boat would be. We meet up in the morning and then drive down to the river. Included is all gear and dry bags. Please bring your own food and beverages. A cooler to put your lunch in and ice water is provided. Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Hug A Highland allows guests to visit our family owned and operated farm to brush, love, feed, and take nonprofessional pictures with our Scottish Highlands and miniature donkeys! Create your own bespoke signature scent while learning the basics of fragrance composition. Choose your favorite jar color to pour your custom scent & 8oz of all-natural wax! (~1hr) While the candles cure (1-1.5hr), enjoy complimentary refreshments and light appetizers (BYOB welcome) as we explain the differences between clean & toxic fragrances with a brief history of perfumery. This is the perfect time to mingle with your group, enjoy snacks and drinks, board games, and design a personalized label on-site with your own photo, logo, etc.! Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece. Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of several projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece. Other things to note This experience is for adults and children over the age of 14. If you have sensitivities to smoke and heat this may not be the experience for you.

We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Discover the wonders of the night sky just outside of Boulder with our all-ages tour! Accessible by car, Taxi, Lyft & Uber, the tour starts at sunset and lasts for 2 hours. A professional astronomer will guide you through the cosmos with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. As you enter our studio, we invite you to get comfortable on our floor mats. If you can, please bring your own bedsheet and pillowcase for the mats, and we can provide pillows and blankets. Once we are settled, we will go through a short guided meditation, followed by 1-hour enchanting sound bath. We hope that by the end, you'll emerge feeling relaxed, refreshed, and recharged. Ready to shape your own cup? Join us for a two hour pottery experience and learn your way around the potter's wheel as your shape your own unique bowls, cups and vases with the help of your host. In this experience, you will shape 2 to 3 pieces. Want to do it with some friends? We can take up to 8 people at a time. After shaping your items, you will choose the color you want them finished in and we will ship them to you when they have gone through the firing process. Firing and shipping are included in the cost of the experience.

Looking for a fun outdoor activity for the family? Need to de-stress from the craziness of life? Cuddling with animals offers the opportunity to relax your mind and let go of the stress and anxiety for brief period. Not to mention, it's just FUN! During your visit, you will have one hour to cuddle and pet the animals on our micro-farm. Being that this is an outdoor experience, we are really not set up to do cuddle sessions during inclement weather. If we are expecting bad weather for your booked hour, I'm happy to work with you on re-scheduling for a nicer day or time. We currently have lots of Nigerian Dwarf goats of varying ages, a 2.5 year-old miniature Zebu named Molly, a rescue steer named Ferdinand, and two pigs named Charlie and Ellie. We also have numerous chickens, as well as our Holland Lop bunnies Oliver and Willow. ** For the health and safety of both our animals and yours, we do not allow outside animals to visit the farm. ** **We do not have a public bathroom on-site, since this is our home.
