Hinterland Barn, national park, cafés, restaurants

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. Woolcott Cottage is a romantic, cosy space, designed to help you reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. Enjoy the intimate and historic setting, and the chance to escape reality and soak in the magic. Unwind with a bottle from the local winery in front of the Nectre fireplace. Settle into the day bed and devour a book while listening to a record. Take a wander down the street to the local distillery, or sit on the deck and take in the birds playing in the bird bath.
