Direct access to the beach via the private path is only 30 steps from your front door to the clean white sand. Our beach is pristine, uncrowded and very close.

The Getaway Box sits serenely and privately in sub tropical rainforest gardens approx. 6kms from central Byron Bay. You are only a 5 minute drive from beaches, restaurants and shopping. Suitable for a couple (sorry no kids) It’s a loft, so the bedroom area has ladder like steps and a low roof. But it all adds to the charm. Enjoy sitting in the tree tops and watching the world go by in our little beachside town.

Tucked at the back of our beach home is a chic little studio, in tranquil South Golden Beach. With its own separate entrance, deck & lush garden, this relaxed space is your own private oasis. With a beautiful bed, modern bathroom and easy stroll to the beach, it offers a peaceful and intimate space to call home. We offer beach towels & bikes for guest use, plus an outdoor copper shower & fire-pit. We’re always available should you need us, but will leave you in complete privacy otherwise.
