One of our 2 boutique, self-contained rooms set in the grounds of a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Ashdon village, 10 mins away from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Cambridge. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely local walks & places of interest. A warm welcome at the village pub. Black Squirrel Barn, luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath barn

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. A PET CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week)

Riverside Accommodation with private balcony

Cam Cottage Cabin is right on the river and is accessed through courtyard gates. It is secluded and an isolated spot nestled in an acre and a half of grounds. It has a private balcony overlooking the River Cam where you can observe rowers, swans and herons gliding by. It is a 20-25 minute stroll along the river towpath into the historic centre of Cambridge or a ten minute bike ride. A Tesco local is 2 mins away, pizza pub and coffee bar and post office. Friendly Labradors roam freely.

Ravello Rose is a fabulous Grade ll Listed thatched cottage in the historic village of Barley, ideal for walking or cycling and close to Cambridge and Duxford Imperial War Museum. Situated in a peaceful lane a ten minute walk from the village centre and 2 pubs, the property has its own front door with entrance porch, well equipped kitchenette, modern shower and toilet, large lounge diner, inglenook and two double bedrooms. There is free parking for one car on our drive.

SELF CATERING set in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian farmhouse in a secluded walled garden. This 500 acre working farm is on the edge of the village of Great Chishill. We are on the B1039 midway between Royston and Saffron Walden, ideal for Stansted Airport and the Cambridge/Liverpool Street and Cambridge/Kings Cross train lines with Royston and Audley End Stations both being just 5 miles away. Cambridge 'Park & Ride' is a 20 minute drive.

Comfortable fully equipped converted barn ideally located close to Cambridge in the village of Whittlesford which has a mainline railway station (Cambridge from 9 mins, London from 60 mins). It is 5 minutes drive to Duxford Imperial War Museum, 10 minute drive to Trumpington Park and Ride to visit Cambridge, 15 minutes to Addenbrookes Hospital 15 minute drive to Saffron Walden (Audley End House and gardens) and 22 miles to Stansted airport.

Lovingly built, my shepherd’s hut is wonderful for a short break away from it all. Located in the rural village of Stocking Pelham in Herts, the surrounding area is perfect for country walks or cycling. Nearby pubs offer great beer and fabulous dining. A short drive away you have various attractions including Henry Moore, Audley End, and the lovely old market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge and Newmarket are not too far either.

Meadow cottage has been designed and built for the holiday market. Everything has been thought of to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is fully equipped and basic cooking ingredients supplied. The bathrooms also are supplied with toiletries. A large garden with decking and outside seating and a large off road carpark for 4/5 cars.
