The Lookout at Crow Hill, named after the quaint back-country road on which it sits, is your own little slice of paradise in the “Down East” area of the Carolina coast. Completely remodeled and elevated for maximum water views, you can enjoy casual waterfront living in style! The modern fully outfitted cottage is perfectly situated on the tidal creek with magnificent high tides, and easy access to the sound and all the waterways that abound in this region. Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

This special place is close to everything! We are located in the historic district just two and a half blocks from Front Street. Within steps of shops, restaurants and waterfront activities, this cozy house is perfect for your stay. There are spots for fishing,crabbing, or swimming a block away, including a public dock. We have a back deck for sunning or dining as well as a front porch for people watching. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, and access to steaming services.

Captain Brown's Farmhouse

Enjoy this unique and family/pet-friendly home. Captain Claude Brown built this charming farmhouse in 1945 for his bride Belle. The Brown family is very well-known in Marshallberg, NC. The road and an island are named after them! The farmhouse was lovingly renovated in 2023 and is ready for guests, both 2-legged and 4-legged! There is a water view from the front porch, the Marshallberg Harbor and boat ramp are a 1/2 mile away, and a doggy door leads to a fun fenced-in area for Fido!

This fully remodeled 1940's Beaufort gem is steps from Town Creek Marina and Front Street! Shops, restaurants, tours and several ferry options are within walking distance. The house offers two queen bedrooms and two full bathrooms, laundry, reading nook, fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, beach cart, yard games & so much more. The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!
