Disconnect & reconnect with family, a girls’ weekend or a couple’s retreat. A peaceful place to unwind, unplug, relax; enjoy watching farm animals graze, sunrises, sunsets & starry skies; reading a book or napping on the screened porch, sipping coffee, rocking on the front porch & watch cranes fish the pond. Slow down at our cozy 3 BR-2 Bath lake home, tucked back in the woods with a quiet view of the cove. Lots of deck space to relax and enjoy nature. If you are feeling more adventurous; Paddle on the lake, play cornhole, or hike on our private trails. And speaking of hiking, we said “take a hike” to cleaning fees (who likes those?), And check-in/checkout times; ours are so flexible they practically do yoga. Stress-free? Absolutely. Deer-approved? 100% They may even pose for a picture with you.

Unwind in a private mini retreat- enjoy waking up in the king size bed to forest views, birdsong, and a front porch made for sitting! Listen to rain on the tin roof or enjoy a bonfire in the fire pit after taking a stroll down our private wooded trails or wading in the creek. Stay connected with WiFi, or just cozy up with a book or a game. Wildlife abounds on this woodland plant farm. Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Blackstone and Ft. Pickett, this is the perfect place to get away!

The Cottage has a full kitchen, a large king bedroom, a bright, window filled sitting area, and a new deck overlooking Upper Weldan Pond and acres of healthy, natural hardwood forest with nearly 4 miles of trails to explore. You'll also love just enjoying the deck and the beauty of the Virginia countryside.

Lake Gaston cozy water front cottage, boat slip

Gaston Lake Life cottage on the water with a private boat slip and community boat ramp. Renovated space with new flooring, cabinets and furniture. 2 bedroom and 1 bath, but sleeps 8 comfortably with the added daybeds that convert to king beds. Also, has an amazing additional outdoor shower where you can wash up under the stars. The deck has comfortable seating for 6 and a gas grill for grilling steaks, burgers or your fresh lake catch. The property has a shared beach front.

Lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bath home on Lake Gaston. The waterfront property also has a boat dock and place to dock and tie up your own boat. There is a neighborhood boat ramp.. There are 2 single kayaks, and firepit.. The gourmet kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. In season, there is an herb garden for guest use. The home is set in a quiet neighborhood that allows privacy. There is extra sleeping space with a queen size air mattress and 2 sofas (not sofa beds)..

Cozy Coop Barn Apartment on Hobby Farm

Cozy and modern apartment inside a working hobby farm barn. Upstairs holds one bedroom with a queen bed. Loft area upstairs has a convertible futon with a TV/blue ray/dvd. Downstairs is a nearly full eat in kitchen (only missing a stove) and the spacious bathroom with stand up shower. A grill is also available on the large covered porch. Guests have access to large covered porch, playground and yard area. Farm chores done 2 times daily. Pets allowed with fee.

Sunny Suite on Main is a spacious, sunny upstairs 1BR private apartment with front & back stair access in our 120+ year-old charmer! She's got vintage personality, comfy vibes, and all the essentials. Some things are a little old-school—but hey, that’s part of the magic! Clean, cozy, and minutes from I-95. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Perfect for travel nurses or anyone needing a cozy crash pad. Need an early check-in time - just ask!

This 150 year old home is a special place to visit. It includes all the amenities you need with fast WiFi, a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and your own private king size bed. Not to mention 30 acres and privacy to spare including a private pond, dock, and fire pit. Come relax and enjoy this newly updated space or head on over to nearby lake Gaston for fishing, boating, water skiing, or amazing lake side dining!
