There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Welcome to Spindrift Cottage our lovely self catering holiday cottage one mile from Silloth on the Solway Coast, just a five minute walk down the lane opposite will take you to the beach with views over the sea to Scotland.
