Sonia house

Built in 1896, this traditional Cretan stone house is located in the village Sivas, Crete, Greece, with great views of the Messara plain and the mountain of Psiloritis and within walking distance to the village square. The house has been substantially restored and renovated with natural materials and great care in order to offer amenities for absolute comfort both in summer and winter time, while retaining all its traditional architectural and decorative elements, typical of the region.

Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

It has a terrace with a view of Psiloritis, a romantic courtyard garden where you can enjoy your privacy undisturbed, a double bedroom, a small kitchen and a bathroom with a spacious shower. It combines the traditional with the modern style and giving a pleasant note. The house is very cool in the summer and very warm in the winter so it makes your stay enjoyable all year.
