The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The cottage suits a couple and in the lounge is a sofa bed for a third guest. If there is only two of you and you require the sofa bedding please let us know at booking. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Upstairs apartment is a large, 2-bedroom house, with spacious living room, tv room, private bathroom and full kitchen. The apartment has its own entrance and private back deck. Right on the beach, a large, light and airy living space (160sqm upstairs house). Backed by native bush with expansive views of the beach and sea/sunrises to the front. Matakatia is a tidal inner harbour beach with safe swimming in summer, and for the brave in winter.

Fully furnished studio unit with a modern bathroom and kitchenette. The studio has a separate entry, and is attached to our family home (we're a kiwi family with 3 young children). Clean, spacious and light. Unlimited ultra fast fibre wifi internet. Our home is surrounded by native forest (kauri, manuka, totara, rimu). Native birds like tui, kereru, piwakawaka and ruru frequently visit.

There is a small Patio area outside this unit with its own Barbeque. This unit has a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and electric non stick frypan. Television, with Netflix, and free wifi.
