The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

A great location for the adventure seekers of this generation too! Located 1/2 mile to boat ramp, fishing pier, canoe rentals and just a couple miles to hiking, ATV/OHV/Jeep trails. 11 miles to Salt Springs swim area, close to Rodman, St. John’s, Orange Lake.
