Satoyama guesthouse Couture(Japanese room)

We are located in ideal countryside which you can see offthebeathen Japan. Bed room is Japanese Tatami room. You can relax at wooden flooring living room. We are connectin with locals. So we can guide you local events or place, also take you to meet locals. Also we do several renovation work, so you can join in Japnaese traditional house renovation workshop. We have 2 kids and 1 cat living in the house. so if you have any allergy, please tell us beforehand.we will bring cat to another house.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Kyoto traditional and modern terrace house

This Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto architectural style. It is a consecutive style townhouse, a maisonette type terrace house. Whole house charter for you. It is close to schools and universities and is in a safe, relaxed, local area with many families with children and students. It has two bedrooms, a shower , and a full kitchen. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Kyoto City accommodation tax is required per person per night.

The penthouse features a private deck and garden with expansive views of nearby mountains. This exclusive loft is the entire 5th floor of Kitano Soho building with private elevator access. No details have been spared to ensure a unique and comfortable stay. The modern interior has been newly designed using locally sourced woods and materials. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

The lodge is located in the small village at Kitayama “north mountain” in Kyoto. This village is left behind in the modernization thus there is still the original Japanese landscape with history and tradition. There is beautiful bath and Hammam faced on the garden, at night time, you will see deers through living room.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.
