Enjoy swimming, canoeing, Bocce on the lawn, barbecue on the deck! Osprey’s Roost is the perfect retreat to rest and recharge, ideal for a romantic week away, a girls’ weekend or a family gathering!

Historic St.Mary's City at the Lazy Bear Cottage

Inquire first on pets, there is a 50 lb. weight limit total, can be split up between 2 small dogs or 1 at 50lbs or less,must be house broken and friendly. Close to Saint Mary's historic city, Pt. Lookout State Park, Sotterley Plantation. Great hiking trails, restored colonial village,a replica of the Maryland Dove. Tour a lighthouse. Great restaurants , or spend a day over in Solomons Island, about 20 miles from us. Peaceful settings for relaxing right on the water,or kayak on the river.

The Osprey Nest: Rappahannock Riverfront Suite

Sunny, private 2nd floor suite at the river's edge features panoramic views of the Rappahannock and surrounding farmland. Take in fiery sunsets, sunrises, starry skies, eagles, ospreys and more. Swim, fish, explore waterways by kayak, or bike in tranquil, rural surroundings. Morning coffee on the balcony with the songbirds is a treat, and the riverfront deck, surrounded by trees is sublime. Restaurants, historic sites, hiking, fossil hunting, wineries, antiques & more are a short car ride away.

Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”). And be sure to visit our sister property, White Point Cottage!

Enjoy the Northern Neck as you overlook the Chesapeake Bay & Pretince Creek, while relaxing on the waterfront setting of this 4 bedrm & 2.5 bathroom house. Enjoy crabbing & fishing (w your rod) on the pier; if you are arriving by boat, dock has deep water. Several adult & child kayaks & 2 paddle boards provided. Ditchley Cider Works is a 1/2 mile walk/ride House is 5 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoy the local wineries, restaurants, shopping, antiques, seafood, tranquility, & nature.

Cozy warm cabin! Large kitchen with eating area, bath with tub/shower, bedroom with queen bed, family room with a queen pull out sofa and a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. Large screened in porch with wonderful views of the Bay. This property is located in Cross Rip campground. Guests of the cabin have access to the beach and pier. This cabin also has an adjoining cabin (like at a hotel) that will sleep an additional 4. Please see our listing for The Stateroom. NO PETS.

Sugartoad Cottage is a calm, plant-filled retreat designed for couples who want comfort, privacy, and walkable access to the best of small-town Chesapeake Bay life. Though located on Mathews Main Street, the cottage feels surprisingly secluded, with gardens, multiple decks, and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that make it easy to slow down.

Peace Point - Waterfront, Secluded, Home w/hot tub

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Very quiet, and secluded waterfront getaway is the perfect spot to relax with nature. House is located approximately 150 feet from the creeks edge providing amazing views. Located on a very quiet and unpopulated creek (no other houses) off the Chesapeake Bay, our home offers a scenic deck with hot tub, waterfront fire pit with seating for up to six people, private floating dock with kayaks to explore the scenic creek.

Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees.
