Full of charming original features, modernised conveniently, and gracefully furnished, it is a delight to come home to. 4 bedrooms, 1 bed and shower room on the ground floor, make it suitable for a maximum of 8 people and 1 dog, but cosy for smaller groups or a couple as well. Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).

This a large flat ideal for a get together with family and friends. We are situated in the village of Abbeytown. The flat has 2 bedrooms one with a very comfortable kingsize bed and the other with twin beds (can be made into double on request) Also the living room has a sofa bed which I make up for guest arrival leaving enough seating available on the corner sofa.
