Bathroom has a ceiling heater, towel warmer, essentials. W/D with detergent. Step out to the front porch rocking chairs, fire pit (wood incl), and picnic table. Explore trails, follow the creek, and hunt for hidden gnomes.

Cozy and modern apartment inside a working hobby farm barn. Upstairs holds one bedroom with a queen bed. Loft area upstairs has a convertible futon with a TV/blue ray/dvd. Downstairs is a nearly full eat in kitchen (only missing a stove) and the spacious bathroom with stand up shower. A grill is also available on the large covered porch. Guests have access to large covered porch, playground and yard area. Farm chores done 2 times daily. Pets allowed with fee.

You’ll find that Mallardee Farm will serve as its own attraction with our friendly, rescued farm pets, walking trails through the 57 acre property, complimentary fishing poles, canoe, row boat & kayaks to use on our 7 acre pond. Just 6 miles from downtown historic Edenton where you can tour, sip, dine, and shop near the waterfront.

The Hawk's Nest (Pets welcome, no fee)

This house is surrounded by growth. High trees provide shade while grilling out and the wooded lot gives a feeling of being somewhere much more remote. There are exactly seventy stairs to the water. The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.

Located in the woods not to far from civilization, but far enough to look up and see the stars - Driveway is gated - property is about 20 minutes from famous Merchants Millpond State Park - 30 minutes from Great Dismal Swamp - not to far from Chesapeake or Virginia Beach - 1 hr 15 minutes from Outer Banks - 30 minutes from Colonial Town of Edenton -plenty of trails on property to ride - Hunting (when season is open)
