While remote, also a convenient base to visit area attractions, hikes & easy drive to C'ville. Relax on the covered back deck watching the sunset and wildlife. Over 2 miles of wooded trails on property for guest use. 15-20 min walk through woods trails (part of this walk is on a hill) to access Rockfish River.

Hillside Haven is conveniently located in Faber, VA with easy access to the Nelson 151 corridor, Charlottesville, and the quaint town of Scottsville. Enjoy the mountain view from the spacious deck or firepit (both with plenty of seating for your whole group), or head out to explore local hiking trails, breweries, or wineries. This space was recently updated and has all of the modern amenities you need for your next getaway. DOG FRIENDLY with an additional fee/stay. No cats, fines may apply.

The Blue Ridge Mountains, the James River, Wintergreen, Infinity Downs , and Charlottesville are all within easy driving distance. A great rural location, perfect for nature lovers and birdwatchers. The owners are a resource for information on the area and can provide recommendations on attractions and activities.

You will be a short drive from hiking Crabtree Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Humpback Rock, Wintergreen, and James River State Park. The Lovingston Winery is just minutes down the road!

With crazy careers, growing kids & constant hustle- everyone needs a hide out like this every now and then!

Whisper Creek! Located in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains. This Lower Level Suite will provide you and friends with the perfect place for back woods peace and quiet. Located one hour from UVA, Wintergreen, numerous Craft Beer Pubs and Wineries. This includes numerous choices for hiking. If canoeing and kayaking is your interest, I am located a short distance from several launch sites. I am willing to shuttle vehicles and assist in getting you where you wanna be.
