Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Directly on the Pincushion Trail System (which links to the Superior Hiking Trail) you'll find endless hiking options right outside your door. The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. Lena has electricity, but no heat or cooking supplies, so plan for an elevated camping experience. READ BELOW

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Super cute little cabin perched right above Lake Superior, and only a 2 minute walk down to the lake. This is a real charmer with pine floors, walls and cabinets. Living room, kitchen and deck all overlook Lake Superior. Though simple, the kitchen has all of the essentials for cooking meals and eating in. The fire pit outside is perfect for relaxing by the fire and making s'mores. Situated near great North Shore adventures, like hiking, biking, paddling, golf, skiing, and snowmobiling.

Come enjoy simple living in a rustic, cozy cabin on Lake Superior with 180 degrees of unobstructed views. Directly off highway 61 with convenient access to hiking, biking, golfing, skiing and more. Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.
