I had an amazing stay at Whitney's home! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect - a short drive to the stunning coastline I loved relaxing in the backyard, which was a peaceful oasis. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore San Luis Obispo.

Excellent place for our extended family. The main room is big enough for everyone to hang out together comfortably, plus there is an enclosed sunporch where you can take business calls. I was a little concerned beforehand about one jack-and-jill bathroom for two bedrooms/eight people, but with all the other bathrooms in the house it worked out fine. The young kids loved the farm animals on site. The owner Laurie responded quickly to all questions.

I had an amazing stay with my family. I really appreciated that Kate, the co host, messaged us to see if we were doing ok and checking in. The living room space is quite spacious. We love their couches! It was so comfortable and relaxing to lay on. Beds were all comfortable. Had a few pillows to choose from. Me and my husband slept in the master. The bed is on the softer side but still very comfortable. I don’t normally sleep well when I travel and I got one the most rested sleep there. There were plenty of towels for everyone and more. The shower pressure was good and the water was nice and warm. The house was very clean. Loved the elephant decor. They have a great taste in music and enjoyed listening to a few of their albums. I appreciate that they put labels in the showers and on the step. They had a wonderful suggestions on where to go eat. I really feel like the hosts were really intentional in what they put in the house to make it feel like a home away from home.

My friends and I booked Chrystine's place for a girls weekend and we all agree we want to visit SYV and stay with Chrystine again. She was the perfect host! The location was lovely on a quiet cul de sac, but also walkable to the main street in town. The property was perfect for us, with comfortable bedrooms, a great living room for hanging out, and a top notch coffee station (which is always VERY important). Don't hesitate to book with Chrystine, you'll love the place!

Location, location, location! Walking distance to everything Solvang including a mini mart and Olsen's Bakery for morning coffee and delicious pastries! Sarah and Marko were extremely responsive when we had a clogged drain and got it fixed while we were out. Very happy with our stay - with grandparents and kids!

Me and my 3 guests enjoyed our stay and would again! We came down for a wedding so we only spent one night, but we were able to use the fire pit, and it was set up for our use, easy to begin the fire. There were smores supplies when we entered and that is an extra touch we appreciated. There were pull out couches which were sturdy. The beds were comfortable, more on the soft side. I wish we had more time to have had a meal at the large table. The shower water was warm and there were more than enough towels. I am always cold and they had a selection of plug in heaters for use. Lots of extra blankets too. Everything you need! Hosts were very communicate and available if needed so I know they care about the guests that stay 👍🏾

joseph’s place was perfect for a weekend of exploring pismo, slo, & atv-ing at the oceano dunes. plenty of room for a friend group of 8! would definitely recommend!

Heidi’s home provided a wonderful vacation home base for my family’s vacation. Heidi and Susie were very friendly and responsive from booking through check-out. Everything in the home was as described. Worth paying extra to have the pool heated and when any glitches came up, they responded quickly and effectively. Great location and very comfortable, well stocked house! The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus. My entire family agreed we would definitely return to this rental for our annual Santa Barbara trip. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Elena's property. The unit was pristine and stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. Bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and easy to get to the center of Carpenteria. Elena was very gracious and communicative and a wonderful host. I will definitely be back on our next trip to Carpenteria.

Sandy's place is in a charming older neighborhood within walking distance to beach , restaurants and sights. The information Sandy provides is helpful. There was a light glitch getting into the apartment, but that was resolved quickly. The apartment we stayed in is on the smaller size, but is updated and comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed the rooftop garden, watching the birdlife on the waterway out the back door, and the outdoors flower gardens at the house and in the neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value. Close to everything. Real Cali beach house vibe. Nice fixtures and appliances. Easy controls for lights, fans, TV, etc. Hadn't seen a retro-style microwave before. Now I have. Cute touch!

My wife, 2 little ones (2 & 5yo), and I enjoyed this small bungalow style apartment very much. What really stood out to me and greatly appreciated was the updated overall look and feel of the place. The fact that the entrance is kind of hidden, tucked away, and gated off adds to the charm this place has. Everything looked fairly new/updated and looked/felt clean. The 2 biggest deciding selling points for me were: 1] PROXIMITY to the Zoo and 5min (10-15min with 2yo) walking distance to the beach and 2] it HAD A KITCHEN to cook a quick breakfast to start the day easy. The only downside for me (which won’t stop me from booking again) was that it’s near a very busy road/high traffic area and near the 101 freeway. You will get traffic noise at times, but it wasn’t enough to keep us awake at night. I will definitely book this place again when we stay in SB next time.

Such a great place. Amazing location, exactly how described, super clean and very comfortable. Maureen's communication was clear, friendly and helpful. Loved the welcome note and the rosé and alllll the extras that Maureen provided ---anything you could possibly need in the bathroom and kitchen plus dog treats and lollypops! Amazing location--great coffee places and restaurants to walk to plus the Mission. Super quiet and a totally cute complex. And a 12 minute drive to see our son at UCSB. PERFECT! We were fortunate to chance upon the Magnolia Cottage when we were looking for a place in the Lompoc area to spend a weekend with our greyhound. Harvey's listing stood out as being the right place for us. Harvey's property is very well located, and it also has a unique charm of a Victorian house with an English style garden! Right from the first interaction which was very prompt, Harvey made sure we had all the information we needed to have. To add to that, Harvey was a gracious host and gave us a tour of the Victorian parts of the property and the gardens. During our stay he alerted us that there was a missile launch scheduled from the nearby Vandenberg SFB and thanks to Harvey, we got to witness the launch as a bonus! For anyone visiting the Lompoc area and looking for a charming place to stay, we recommend Harvey's!

This was my second stay at Jane's place and I enjoyed it even more than the first time. It is conveniently located, just a few blocks from East beach, grocery chopping and restaurants. The place is clean, well furnished with everything I needed in the kitchen to make dinner for friends while I was there. And Jane was proactive, providing me early access and very accommodating allowing me to leave an hour later than planned. I will stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

Rob is definitely a super host, and the location is so enjoyable, with walking distance to the sand, and town! My fiance and I will definitely look forward to another stay, and recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm relaxing get away.

This is the second time we have stayed at this home and it was just as enjoyable as the first visit! Seppi and Diana are great hosts with a great, immaculately clean home. They have a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and eating in the home, along with clean bathrooms with the necessary toiletries. The hot tub was so nice for soaking after our day out hiking. The location of their home is near a grocery store and a pharmacy, plus you can walk to Corner Tap for delicious pizza, salad, and beer. I will always recommend this location for a wonderful weekend in Santa Barbara and look forward to staying here again for a future visit!

Amanda’s place was exactly what we were looking for— calm, close to the beach, walkable, and comfortable. We stayed there with our son (8 months), and Amanda provided us a crib, seat, and bathtub which made our stay that much easier. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place next to the beach with their partner or small family.

Autumn’s place is beautiful, I loved staying there. Super quick drive to downtown Santa Barbara and love the shops around super convenient! Definitely look forward to booking with Autumn next time in Santa Barbara, she’s a fantastic host and really thinks of all the small details.

The place was great! The photos and description of the place were accurate. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too great during our stay so we were unable to utilize the rooftop the way we would have liked to but the hot tub was very nice and there were pretty distant ocean views when the weather cleared up. The spacious open living space inside is what saved us being able to cook and socialize comfortably. I appreciated the sliding open doors to the outdoor BBQ/table area making the space feel even bigger. The immediate surroundings are not very scenic but the place is very close to everything and it’s in a quiet area. They have a surround sound Sonos system to connect to which we had some difficulty with so I recommend bringing your own speaker just in case. I appreciated the supply of beach towels & chairs, the ease of check in and communication with the host and the supply of qtips, cotton pads and black makeup towel for us ladies. Would def recommend especially with great weather!
