Stefan & Jenny's Airbnb is a gem. We felt instantly at HOME. It is such a beautiful little sanctuary, tugged away enough from the main road, but yet right in the center of town. Everything is very close. This was very convenient for our evening strolls to the restaurants and ferry ride to Isabela island. Stefan greeted us with a big smile when we arrived. Not only that, he sent us all the instructions anyone could wish for on how to get from the airport to their place. He walked us through everything in the house, and I appreciate his enthusiasm. He also connected us to the best tour booking agency around - shout out to Alejandro with FDS Travel, which was right around the corner. We ended booking ALL of our tours with them :D. Couple minor things: 1. I personally LOVED the upper bedroom nook. The stairs are an adventure :D 2. Shower temp is hard to control. Usually either too hot or too cold. Overall, their Airbnb contributed to making our visit unforgettable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The location is great (around a 5/10 minute walk from the main pier, shops, and restaurants). The accommodation is really nice, just as described and they have left a recommendation of activities, restaurants etc which we found really useful. And David and Pat were really nice and helpful before and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Estupenda estancia en un enorme apartamento acorde a las fotos y descripciones. Muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo, tiendas, restaurantes, malecón. La anfitriona un 10. Muy amable y muy pendiente de nosotras. Nos proporcionó instrucciones de lugares a visitar, etc.Estancia muy recomendable.

Torre Mar was perfect for the 3 of us and is in a great location in Puerto Ayora. An easy walk to anywhere in town. The 3 A/C units were a nice welcome home after a day in the heat. John, our host, was very attentive and willing to help. His place is very comfortable, clean, and well supplied. We were sad to not meet Donna as she was from our state but traveling while we were there in Galapagos. The outdoor area is very relaxing, and private. John helped with booking taxi service and coordinated an amazing boat trip to Bartolome. He checked in with us often, was very friendly, and was quick to respond. We would definitely go back and stay at Torre Mar again. we liked how close it is to many restaurants, shopping, and town center with excursions but still found it to be quiet and easy for us to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Excellent stay. We enjoyed renting bikes to go out to the Darwin Foundation. 1835 coffee and Midori sushi were both recommendations that we took from the host - absolutely wonderful experiences at both. Very unique stay in a beautiful “tree house”. Beautiful decor and touches throughout the home. It was everything we wanted and we’d definitely stay again!

Carlos es un anfitrión muy amable y siempre está atento de sus huéspedes, es muy servicial y comunicativo, el lugar está cerca de lugares importantes como el malecón de galápagos, la entrada a la laguna de las ninfas y también cerca a la entrada para empezar la travesía de tortuga bay.

Gracias Ramiro por recibirnos a mi y a mi familia. Tu departamento estuvo perfecto, cocina impecable y con todos los implementos necesarios dormitorios amplios y cómodos, con aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. Y el plus fue la lavadora/secadora, necesarias sobre todo cuando se viaja con niños. Ramiro y su hermana pendientes de nosotros y siempre en comunicación. Definitivamente regresaríamos!

Cozy apartment en pleno centro

We stayed for 6 days and had an excellent experience. The service was outstanding—Mr. Ernesto was very kind and always available to answer any questions. The house is in a great location, just 5 blocks from the port where all the tours depart. There are shops, restaurants, and everything you need nearby. It’s also close to Tortuga Bay, so you can walk there easily. Super well located! Everything was spotlessly clean: towels, sheets, and floors. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Mr. Ernesto kindly provided us with water, salt, oil, and other basics, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at home and I give it a solid 10 out of 10. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galápagos looking for comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. Thank you for everything! Estuvimos 6 días en este alojamiento y fue una experiencia excelente. La atención fue de primera; el señor Ernesto es una persona muy amable y siempre estuvo disponible para resolver todas nuestras dudas.

Yellow room at Franklins Bay

My husband and I stayed at Sarah’s for a week and really enjoyed our experience. That said, this Airbnb is very rustic and may not be for people who want to be closer to town and or require more modern facilities. For us, the biggest issue was the kitchen, which was quite small and difficult to cook in, but we were able to eat simple breakfast and lunch lunches there and we always ate dinner out. Personally, we enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of Santa Cruz and smack in the middle of nature. The walk to where you take the water taxi into town is beautiful. It takes about 12 to 15 minutes depending on how high the tide is and what time of day it is. It gets quite dark at night so make sure you have a flashlight because there are no lights along the rocky path. Sarah has to be one of the nicest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. She will go out of her way to help you out and is a great source of local knowledge.

Charles Darwin's Suite on the way to Tortuga Bay

The suite is in a great location on the way to Tortuga Bay. Quiet and comfortable, I had everything I needed for a long stay. Nestled in a residential neighborhood the suite is peaceful and close enough to town that you can walk everywhere. I did appreciate the air conditioning as it was very hot and humid during my stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Casa #344 - Room 1 Full Bed & Sofa Cama - NO A/C

Me siento satisfecho por el lugar porque todo es igual a las fotografías y estaba cerca a todos los lugares turísticos de Santa Cruz y cerca a los lugares de comida, caminando a 3 minutos ya llegaba al Puerto, estábamos en pleno centro de la isla, el departamento muy acogedor, tranquilo y sobre todo limpio ya que Maria la persona de limpieza estaba pendiente y a Gino que estaba pendiente en mi estadía y recomendandome sitos de comida y demás.

Natura

We loved the apartment. We loved the hammock on the balcony. They had some fresh water for us to drink. They let us know how much a taxi ride should cost which helped us get around without worrying about it. The AC was nice. The neighborhood has plenty of little grocery stores and bakeries. We'd stay here again.

Excelente departamento, muy amplio y cómodo, hay que caminar unas cuadras desde el centro/muelle principal, pero vale la pena la comodidad del lugar por un precio accesible. Sábanas limpias. El anfitrión muy amable y pendiente de que todo vaya bien durante la estancia, olvidé un cargador de celular y se ocupó muy amablemente de que lo pueda recuperar.

Great location. Quiet. I’m a family apartment complex, so being quiet was great. Lovely street. Close to town. Clean rooms and bathroom. Would come back for sure! William helped with arranging taxis and made checking in easy.

Muy bonito y moderno el Dpto. Aunque está un poco alejado de la zona de turismo está a sólo 4 minutos del centro. La atención del anfitrión siempre muy buena y muy oportuna.

Great 1st floor apartment, very clean, great host and service. Air conditioner is only in bedroom but it works great for both rooms. Kitchen is good, I was able to cook the whole week. Location is relatively quiet, it's 2 blocks from the main street and the market, but you can't hear the cars. Close to the trail to Tortuga Bay. 10-15 minutes walk to the port. There are a two more apartments in the same building, sharing the yard. Carlos was great, he offered towels and bedsheets change often, took care of the garbage too.

The stay was great and chilled. Not a lot of interactions or communication with the host but he was responsive when needed. It would be good to consider having a weekly tidy up and cleaning of the room for long staying guests.
