We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet weekend at Abby’s. Check-in was a breeze. The location was easy to find and convenient to restaurants, sights and activities available in the area. The house was very clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Without a doubt, this was one of my favorite airbnb experiences, full-stop. Elle was a wonderful host, responsive, proactive, detailed, charming. I brought my parents here for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! Also, my small dog was right at home immediately. The kitchen was well stocked, sparkling clean, with very Maine themed mugs that we enjoyed our daily coffee in. The fireplace was delightful for the mid-April chill in the air and couple days that we experienced the beautiful Spring rain. My dad was able to fish nearby locations where the ice had subsided and was in heaven doing so. My mother loved the large selection of books in the home and I just loved watching her get lost in the library of books and was particularly filled with joy to see my mom reading a book about Maine out loud to my dad. So very sweet. Elle, thank you so much, you are an absolute gem in so many ways. I cannot thank you enough for allowing others to experience your beautiful family cabin.

It was cozy and comfortable. The space was clean, the shower needed a little attention, there was a small pool of green in the corner but that could have just been from water left. The setup is perfect for a weekend getaway and there is a lot to do in the area. Instructions were very clear and checking in was easy. We didn’t have to contact the host for anything.

Erin & Joseph were the BEST hosts! Booked before they were superhosts and honestly, they deserve it! Full kitchen. Cabin smells so amazing — like fresh lumber. Reminds me of my grandfather’s cottage from my childhood. There’s a fire pit which was perfect for our stay. Bed was super comfortable! We came for our anniversary and they left us water bottles, flowers, mugs, cake and cookies — which were SO GOOD! There was also movie snacks waiting for us on the coffee table! It’s so peaceful, we hated to leave. The natural lighting makes the morning sunlight come into the cabin so lovely. It was an absolute dream! There are also board games upstairs for kiddos! There’s also a trail to walk around in the woods. There’s tons of parking. If you like supporting local businesses, there’s plenty around for firewood, honey, pastries, syrup, etc. Erin was also so sweet when we forgot to take the trash out for checking out 🤦🏻‍♀️😆 Seriously, book with them! It was the best AirBnB experience we’ve ever had

This was a fantastic find in a private and quiet area. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic as it snowed a bit while we were there. It’s a great space with a rustic feel and fun vibe. As someone that lives in Maine and enjoys finding places like this, we will definitely be back.

Crystal and Scott are wonderful caring and always checking in to make sure I was happy and warm during the cold Maine winter . Everything was peaceful and welcoming about our stay. I would come back and recommend this beautiful space to anyone looking .

Joia's place is incredible! We are a family of five and had more than enough room. Everything we needed was in the home, even things like fans, extra blankets, and night lights for the kids. She has thought of everything and the place is clean, well organized, and located on a quiet mountain side. We were there to ski, but the condo is close to lots of great things to do and has plenty of good restaurants very close by. We would definitely stay here again!

Maine's High Country Get Away

MaryAnn's home is gorgeous, with spectacular sunrise and mountain views. Well appointed, everything in the home has a purpose, and has been selected with intention and an eye toward minimizing waste. The radiant floors were dreamy, as was the beautiful stone fireplace (there's a woodstove as well as an option). Plenty of space for 4 adults to spread out and relax, and we saw tons of wildlife out in the fields and woods surrounding the property. We can't wait to return in the summer to do some hiking, paddling and mountain biking (and enjoying a bottle of wine on the stone patio or sunset-side deck)!

Comfortable and convenient. We were minutes from restaurants and skiing which was perfect. The rental really felt like a hime. Check in was easy and Julia and Peter were proactive with messages about check in and trash. Rooms and beds were comfortable and clean.

Home with views, Hot-Tub, Pool Table, & Ping Pong

Had a great time staying here! There was so much space, everything was very comfy, loved the pool + ping pong + hot tub. The road getting up to the place is unpaved so we were concerned our 2WD car couldn’t make it up, but by the time we got back from skiing, the road had been plowed and sanded. The two minor downsides during my stay were the water (shower + sinks) occasionally smelled strongly of sulfur (?) but it wasn’t a big deal because the fridge had a filtered water dispenser. Also there is a requirement to not wear shoes in the house but the floors were dirty. No visible dirt but the floors definitely were not mopped. Very responsive host so I imagine if I complained about it something would have been done but it wasn’t actually a real issue.

We enjoyed this stay very much. It was very conveniently located close to Sunday River, which made our skiing plans easy to execute. The hot tub was definitely a plus and the house easily accommodated our multiple adults, kids, and even a couple dogs.

You couldn’t ask for better hosts! Everything we needed was there and it was actually better than listed! The beds that we thought were going to be twins were doubles, so we were super comfy! The kitchen table was the perfect place for our two families to gather together and enjoyed our time by the wood burning stove. There is SO much to do in the area! I highly recommend this property!

The Nook

The nook is a beautiful and cozy place to explore this part of Maine! Kate was an INCREDIBLY responsive and generous host, even replying to a message I sent late at night with the best northern lights viewing location I’ve ever seen. Norway and Brighton are great surrounding towns and the lakes in Harrison are beautiful spots for a swim. Everything was wonderful!

Great little spot right in town. Super convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the river, which made for a relaxing morning. Bonus: the very sweet cat, Lucy, who made the stay even cozier. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a nice time at Jennifer's apartment. The place was very comfortable and in a convenient location. It was isolated with nice views and we had a great time. Internet, TV, fire, heat, etc... all worked well. The host was extremely communicative. The only two minor negatives were 1) the person who was supposed to shovel the walk didn't come and so we had to dig our way in (Jennifer DID communicate about this ahead of time) and 2) the hot water tank is small. That said value was excellent and we would stay here again!

What a great place to stay and visit our daughter at Colby. Cozy and comfortable, spent some great time there. Comfortable beds, plenty of space and kitchen had everything we needed. It was perfect.
