There is a large circle drive or street space available for those who need trailer/equipment parking. The home was built in 1877 for John Guion, who served as San Saba county judge and was president of the Texas A&M board of directors from 1914-1918.

There is a private swimming pool (5ft deep), with a large deck and a BBQ grill, fire pit and the fishing is with in walking distance to the river. For the wine connoisseurs, Wines of Dotson-Cervantes Vineyard and Tasting Room is 2 miles up the road off 1851.
