Cartlodge inspired accommodation

The Forge is set in the countryside of Tendring, a 6 minute journey by car to the beach Clacton On Sea. We have always been inspired by Tiny houses so we created our own compact bijou, a warm open space building that can sustain a 2 meter foot print set in the grounds of our country cottage. The accommodation is finished to a high standard and is completely new inside & out with light soft furnishings and a contemporary floral design bed linen to help you relax and enjoy a good night's sleep.

The Blackhouse Boatshed is a stylish new small house boasting stunning panoramic views over the boatbuilding and sailing hamlet of Pin Mill and the famous Butt and Oyster pub. Now with super-fast Fibre Max internet, The Beach House is situated on the Essex Sunshine Coast, right on the bank of a tidal creek with stunning views of the sea in front and the river behind. Being in the Nature Reserve, we cannot accept dogs or pets of any kind; sorry. We do not let to groups; we only let to families or two couples maximum. Absolutely no groups of more than four guests or parties of any kind. High tide sometimes cuts off the house so please be aware of this.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

It includes a fully equipped kitchen with espresso machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, lounge/diner, second lounge with sofa-bed and main bedroom with en-suite bathroom with large shower, separate bath, basin and WC. The annexe has its own secluded garden. Only 1.7 miles to the beach.
