Located directly on the seafront, the newly renovated fisherman’s cottage has stunning, uninterrupted views over the North Sea. Ideal for quiet getaways, Writer’s Retreat is the perfect spot to slow down & relax. Enjoy beautiful sea views from the open plan kitchen area, or cosy up infront of the logburning fire in our living area. Explore local seaside towns, with shops, pubs & local amenities on the doorstep.

The property is double glazed with underfloor heating throughout. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other is a king size. There’s 1 bathroom with a bath & overhead shower. Also a living room / kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, & tv. It has a convertible sofa chair / bed which can be used for a 5th guest. All bedding, towels & a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits & toiletries come as standard. There’s free WiFi throughout & parking outside.

The Queen's Hut This picture perfect log cabin sits on the banks of a secluded loch just a stone's throw from Aboyne on Royal Deeside. The Hut was originally built for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, who enjoyed lunching here during her visits to Balmoral. The property has recently been renovated to a excellent standard and a special effort has been made to honour the history of the Hut and its location on Royal Deeside. Crovie sits at the bottom of a cliff on the Moray Firth coast, and is one of the best preserved fishing villages in Scotland. No.30 sits midway along the village overlooking the pier and the sea. Comfortable living room with box bed for lazy reading, open fire for cozy evenings and extendable dining table for meals overlooking the sea. The well equipped kitchen also has a breakfast table.
