Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Kaunis erillistalo Alajärven rannalla rauhallisessa miljöössä 10km päässä Ivalon keskustasta. Rannassa hienohiekkainen matala ranta sekä puulämmitteinen rantasauna vieraiden käytettävissä erillisestä maksusta. Myös kota käytettävissä, puut maksusta. Talvella rannasta pääsee kelkkareiteille sekä hiihtämään. Lähistöllä kauniita ulkoilumaastoja. Lemmikkieläimet eivät ole sallittuja. Asunnon voi siivota itse, jolloin siivousmaksu palautetaan. Alle kolmen yön vierailussa siivousta/lakanoita ei ole.

Mökille pääsee autolla. Vieraan pitää olla kokenut majoittuja, joka hallitsee puulämmitteiset tulisijat ja kaasuhellan käytön. Tottunut myös selviytymään erilaisissa luonnon olosuhteissa eri vuodenaikoina. Juoma- ja käyttövesi järvestä. Valaistus aurinkopaneelilla. Ei sähköä. Ulkokäymälä. Kellari.
