Kawakawa Hut

A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Cosy Cottage Retreat Motuoapa

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

Waireka Apartment

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. For the benefit of fellow Guests we request quiet time after 10.30pm Special Rates Ask us about our special rates for a stay of 2 nights or more. Great location for accessing Lake Taupo (5 minutes) walk including great marina and cafe. Turangi (10 minutes drive), World famous trout fishing in the Tongariro River. Ski fields, tramping and Tongariro Crossing are only 45 minutes away. Taupo is just over half an hour away to the North. Accommodation is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac.

Bike hire available at Ohakune & National Park We are halfway between Whakapapa and Turoa skifields. 10minutes to Ohakune and 15 minutesNational Park Village. Visit Owhango ( 25 minutes ) for fishing, hunting and bush walks.

Ideal for the Tongariro Crossing, skiing, mountain biking or bushwalking. Relax in the wood-fired outdoor bath with complete privacy and views of the bush, deer and stars.
