Great place! It’s small but was perfect for my husband and I. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well kept. How wonderful kayaks were available to use. We enjoyed using them on this beautiful lake. The lake is so crystal clear. And location was perfect. We were able to get around so easily. We only stayed 3 nights. We definitely will be back and will stay longer.

My husband and coworkers stayed in the apartment. They stated the only issues were the water taking a while to get hot and the snow plowing/shoveling next to the sidewalk window at 2am, which the last thing isnt something the host can resolve. It accommodated their work needs with plenty of parking for their trucks and trailers, which is usually an issue when working.

Great stay, might be a tight fit with 6 people but it was super good. Clean and gives you the ability to make food and store in a fridge. Beds are all essentially in the same room so no privacy, but thats not important especially on weekend where it was just us guys staying to ski at granite peak. Great stay, thank you Fred. We would come back!

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

Beautiful, quiet place to get away from the city. We went kayaking, had a bonfire, watched movies, visited a friendly local bar, had large amounts of ice cream and visited Minocqua. We saw a bald eagle in a tree above their dock by the water!

Holly cow! What a great flat! This apartment features everything you need for a pleasant and peaceful getaway. We'll maintained and super affordable for small groups. Would highly recommend this place to others! Super responsive host! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This adorable little cottage is perched right on the Wisconsin River (perfect for nature watching.) It's very well appointed, with fully stocked kitchen, bath, and comfy throws and pillows. There was even a little welcome snack when we arrived. And while the residence feels perfectly secluded, it is just a short walk to plenty of amenities including the cute historical downtown area.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised and very conveniently located in Wausau. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

The owner tried to make the B&B feel like home and make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay and the large backyard for the dogs.

overall a good stay. I prefer white towels over black ones. sheets were dark brown, I prefer white. water comes from well and is brownish in color due to iron. there are no hooks to hang towels. also nowhere to hang clothes. bathroom sliding door has no handle. freezer was not cleaned. There was plenty of coffee.

Great place to for a larger group. perfect for snowmobiling trail is right at the end of driveway

We were up for a UTV weekend, it had plenty of room for the six of us and was a great location.

Robin’s space was perfect. We loved the location..it is truly in the middle of the woods. The house is small - but perfect for traveling with close family. The beds were very comfy, nice water pressure in the shower, and the kitchen had everything we needed. During our stay we spotted deer walking across the property - which we loved seeing! So quiet, aside from the chorus of birds :). We will absolutely be back - thanks for having us!

great host and great place to stay

My family and I had a wonderful mini vacation and went to area ski hills. This condo was absolutely wonderful to return to at the end of the day! We will 100% book here again.

We had a lovely stay here! The location is fantastic and the layout of the apartment is great. We really enjoyed the basketball court, tennis court, walking trails, and beach access. There are lots of curious deer nearby and they made our walks very enjoyable. The house was well stocked with bathroom products (towels, soap, etc) and the AC worked well to keep the house cool. We look forward to coming back!

Had a great stay! Very easy instructions to get into the home and great location near Ski Brule. The owner did a great job to make the stay perfect. Access to washer/dryer, with included detergent, was super helpful with the ski gear. All in all, this was a 10/10 experience and made our ski trip even better

Great spot to stay. We stayed here snowmobiling when it was the black bear lodge. Nikol was easy to work with to move our dates to a later time until conditions for snowmobiling allowed. Which meant so much when your at the whim of Mother Nature. Great place to stay.

Carrie was great! She communicated instructions for check in timely and clearly. For the few questions we did have, she got back to us right away. There were also instructions in the condo The place was just as described in a great location! We had a great vacation and it was so nice to call this place home for a week!
