Alpaca Lodge with stunning views and alpacas

The Alpaca Lodge is a free standing stone building next to our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare), surrounded by our herd of friendly free-roaming alpacas and llamas, with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. It has a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, cereal bars and biscuits are provided in the room, and there is a kettle, tea and coffee, cutlery and plates etc., a microwave, toaster and a small fridge.

Old pub cottage was an illegal pub in the 1860 s. We are situated in the centre of the beara peninsula on the wild Atlantic way coastal route amid stunning scenery . This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Ger's Lake View Studio Apartment On The Hill No 1

My space is ideal for couples and the solo traveler alike. My Studio apartment is attached to my home (a traditional Irish farmhouse) . We are surrounded by the most spectacular mountains on 3 sides and to the front it opens up to the beautiful Derriana lake. When you look out the front window of my studio you will be greeted by the lake and see Waterville in the distance. I am situated about 20 minutes from the village of Waterville and about 20 minutes from the town of Cahersiveen.

The Boatmakers Cabin

Delightful cosy cabin set at the base of Pine trees in the rear garden of our bed and breakfast property. 4 mins drive (15 mins walk) from Dzorgen Beara Buddhist and Meditation Centre and a 5 minute walk / clamber to the cliffs. Castletownbere Fishing town with pubs and restaurants is 8 mins drive one way and Allihies village with beach and pub grub 14 mins the other way. Fantastic area for walking and cycling. The cabin is self catering and a selection of evening meals are available.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.
