Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Off street parking available.

Relax in a charming mountainside off-grid cabin at the border of the 4800-acre Channels State Forest. Close to the trailhead of the Brumley Mountain Trail, this cabin is a 3-mile hike from The Channels—a Natural Area Preserve home to a maze of breathtaking 400-million-year-old sandstone outcroppings and a rich, diverse forest ecosystem. The newly-renovated cabin offers the tranquility of the forest and proximity to some of the countries most awe-inspiring and well-preserved forestland.

The Apartment at Ravenwood is located 1.7 miles from I-81. Centrally located between Abingdon VA and Emory Va. Great location with quick access to the interstate. Less than a 10-minute drive to the Creeper Trail and the Historic sites of Abingdon VA and Less than 5 miles to Emory and Henry College. Come and enjoy the newly renovated apartment w/ a modern contemporary design. You will feel very welcome with new interior and furnishings. Non-Smoking Unit! Central heat & air. Wi-Fi.

Campside Cottage--a vacation retreat located across from Camp Burson at the entrance of Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, Virginia. Relax around the campfire, hike or bike the many trails, lounge on the beach with a good book, or cast your line to catch a big one! Enjoy the beautiful views of the Appalachian mountains while paddleboarding or kayaking Hungry Mother Lake. Don't forget to go shopping or sample the restaurants of America's Coolest Hometown! Surrounded by mountains and located right around the corner from the Hatfield McCoy Warrior Trailhead office. Enjoy High Rocks, Wilmore Dam or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, hiking or boating. Easy access to restaurants, gas station, and grocery store. We are an ATV friendly town and House is located in quiet friendly neighborhood with plenty of parking.

You will relax and reconnect in this beautiful valley nestled in the Southwest Virginia mountains. Sit on the porch and soak up those mountain views. Relax in the hot tub and count the stars. You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.
