JH Studio is located in the geographical centre of Newcastle, just 5 minutes drive from JH Hospital, Blackbutt Reserve & parks. This modern, spacious one bedroom studio sits privately downstairs at the rear of our residence, with separate entry & quiet street parking. It features a comfy king size bed, newly renovated bathroom & laundry, self-contained kitchen, lounge & dining rooms, snooker table & stylish furnishings. Wake up to ocean views and a cool sea breeze in this exceptional 2 bedroom waterfront home. Mirroring outside, the interior features a white and blue aesthetic accented by wood textures, plant life and nature inspired patterns throughout every space. Unwind and relax on the covered deck with uninterrupted water views over the bay to the mountains watching beautiful sunsets. Located in a quiet beachside location with shops, cafes, restaurants, Caves beachside hotel all within a 3 minute drive.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group or family trips. Views that make you feel like you are on top of the world. Relax in the many large spaces this open plan home enjoys or unwind with a drink n BBQ watching the sunset over the lake. Perhaps take a 5 min walk to the cosmopolitan cafes/restaurants and lakeside pleasures. Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

Little House on Dawson

This is a beautiful little self contained bungalow located at the back of my house. You will have everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay in this (EXTREMELY!) light-filled space. All the windows are leadlight and the soaring window at the front (from a 100 year old church in the Hunter Valley) adds to the distinctive charm. You will have your own access. You can park in the driveway or on the street (unrestricted on weekends and after hours. Otherwise its a 2hr limit from 9am-5pm

The Church

The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

Five minute walk to New Lambton village shops with IGA supermarket, pub, great coffee shops/cafes, and restaurants. Ten minute walk to McDonald Jones sports precinct and hockey stadium. Ten minute drive to Newcastle and beaches. North facing lounge and spacious kitchen with high ceilings, courtyard and off-street parking.

"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. Walk along the Bather’s Way from Bar Beach to Merewether or up to the ANZAC Memorial Walk and into Newcastle city.
