Big Canadian log house sited high on a hill with gardens adjacent to spacious deck with undercover five seater spa. Large living area downstairs. Complimentary continental breakfast with home made crumpets and raspberry jam. Breakfast room with access onto deck with awesome view of Mt Ruapehu. Upstairs lounge equipped with childs' toys, books and activities.. Well equipped kitchen with walk in pantry. Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed downstairs, dog sitting available. Unique and Charming Garden Cottage

Located along SH49, five minutes from Ohakune, the Garden Studio is a postcard perfect quirky and unique hideaway. The Tiny Escape

It has double glazing, a gas heater, marine grade composting toilet, large porch area for dining. Our deer & cattle graze the countryside below. Dogs allowed but outside only, in kennel on the porch (bed supplied). Welcome to your Tiny Escape!

Totara Croft, a stargazers dream

A new 30 sq m cabin, views from every angle looking out at cows, sheep & valley below. Wake to birdsong. An old Totara forest behind the cabin to admire the views & watch the Kereru & other native birds. 15 mins to Feilding, Vinegar Hill, 20 mins to Kimbolton (Cross Hill Gardens) or 30 mins to Apiti. Continental breakfast supplied, along with tea, coffee, sugar etc. Large deck to sit and enjoy the views over the valley below. Plenty of parking for a trailer if required.

Flat Hills Family Pod 2

Set in the grounds of Flat Hills Cafe in the scenic Rangitikei Valley. This Pod can accomodate up to 4 people. We have a shower & toilet block as well as a large campers lounge with 50inch tv, book and toy corner and kitchen. Each Pod has its own TV, fridge plus tea & coffee making facilities. There is a BBQ to use on those finer evenings & free Wifi in the cafe grounds. For families we have a play area with bouncy castle, farm animals & even a maze!! **CAFE CLOSED ON TUESDAYS**

Shadows Hut (Pets welcome)

Shadows hut, your own little slice of off grid mountain paradise! located just 5km from National park village, Shadows Hut is a prime location for exploring the beautiful Tongariro National Park. The hut is situated on a 1/4 acre lifestyle block. It runs on solar power, spring water and good vibes! The Mountain Chalet, a short stroll to town centre

Located close to bike trails and a mere 20mins from Turoa ski field and 40mins to Whakapapa ski field, this cosy chalet has everything you need for an epic summer or winter getaway. The new hot water system provides a hot and strong pressured shower. Not only will you be staying close to fantastic restaurants and cafes, but you’re also close to the supermarket, ski gear, shuttle and bike hire. Luca’s Chalet

Perfect hideaway for a relaxing weekend away, a family bike or ski-trip or to explore the Tongariro National Park. This is Lord of The Rings land so come ready for adventure! The A frame is our family Bach and is fully equipped for your relaxing stay. Read a book from the little library in the hammock on the front deck or soak your ski legs in the bath on the back deck. We are a short walk to The Junction where you will find the famous Powderkeg restaurant.

MacKenzie Cabin, Waimarino, National Park, Ruapehu

Our cabin is situated in the closest residential village to Whakapapa Ski Field and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - a famous one day trek. You’ll love the view of the mountain (on a clear day) and the ambiance of a warm log fire. Great for all those wanting to explore the beauty of the Central Plateau, skiing and snowboarding (winter season), tramping, mountain biking (all year round) or just taking a much needed break away from it all.
