Our home is your home, offering access to all required amenities for a family affair on the slopes or trails including in-unit washer/dryer, mudroom for your gear, a wood-burning fireplace to kick up your feet next to after a long day, a remodeled bathroom, and two comfy queen beds (one sleeper sofa). Wake up with a cup of joe to a beautiful mountain sunrise to do it all over again :)

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. View Graceland from your window. Restaurants, train and downtown shops within walking distance. Less than an hour from Canaan Valley and about an hour from Snowshoe Resort. Many outdoor adventures close by. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Rich Mountain Battlefield, Cheat and Tygart Valley Rivers, and Spruce Knob. Watch the Forest Festival parade from your window.

Self-check-in/out; this condo has a view looking straight down Widow Maker/Soaring Eagle Express. Out the door you have the ability to get a warm up from the flume series. The Flume series crosses the 5 main lifts; Soaring Eagle, Ballhooter, Grab hammer, Power Monkey, and Powder Ridge. In addition, the first floor of this condominium consists of rentals, Hoots Restaurant*, and lift ticket check-in*. *only available during winter season.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals or just grab a cup of coffee from the beverage station.

RECENTLY UPDATED: Comfortably sleeps FOUR (two queen beds; no pull-out sofa). XL ski in/ski out studio located in the Village at 227 Expedition Station. Enjoy true slope access to Skidder (+ the ski school) just outside the locker room beneath our unit, equipment rentals in the same building if you need them, and walkable access from Ballhooter Lift, dining, SBUX, and village shops—all with a quiet, cozy feel.

Your family is within 5 minutes driving distance to both Timberline Mountain and Canaan Valley Resort. Walking distance from the Ski barn and the best pizza place in the valley( Mamma Mias)! Lots of hiking and biking spring/summer and fall activities! We have window AC units June 1-Oct 15th! Some amenities Airbnb has as default settings! We do not supply Salt, Pepper, cooking oil or chopsticks.

The Nook is a play on our popular property, The Rail Hus, located in Elkins, WV as it embodies our signature Scandinavian, minimalistic modern style. The Nook is a quaint place perfect for one or two people. It is centrally located right at the access to Route 33 towards the Canaan area and a minute or two from the downtown district. The Nook has a private second floor porch and private parking.

This two bedroom apartment with a glorious view of the mountains and the city of Elkins is located in a very peaceful neighborhood and is an easy walk down town. We are new to short term rentals and are super excited to host and meet new people in our mountain hometown.
