At Quoys Self Catering we are delighted to offer you our luxurious, quality self catering accommodation in Lerwick, Shetland. Lerwick is the capital of Shetland and our property is located on the outer edge of town, in the prestigious development at Quoys Road. Our superbly finished property, which is of the highest quality, is perfect for business trips, short-breaks and holidaying with family or friends. Boasting 2 large reception rooms, this is the perfect space to suit everyone's needs. Our property enjoys unrestricted views and boasts a spectacular panoramic view of Lerwick. Sitting closer to Norway than the Scottish mainland, Shetland has many Scandinavian influences. We are fortunate to live on an island where we enjoy a large variety of wildlife combined with breath taking scenery and stunning islands. Shetland is renowned for its iconic fair isle knitting and rich fishing industries and hosts many festivals including Up Helly Aa and the Folk Festival. There are many arts and crafts opportunities, museums and musical events for you to enjoy. The people of Shetland are well known for their hospitality and we look forward in offering you a first class welcome.

The View - explore Shetland then relax in luxury

The perfect place for exploring the north of Shetland mainland and the outlying islands. This is a elegant retreat on two levels including a large kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedrooms and living area. For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. There are two entrances so your stay will remain private. The View is on a small estate

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

This traditional cottage has been recently renovated to provide a modern, quirky and cosy home away from home. A scenic, relaxing setting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring Shetland. With magnificent sea views, Driftwood provides beautiful coastal walks from your doorstep. During the summer months, your nearest neighbours are Shetland ponies who may peer over the fence to say hello. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy watching local wildlife along the shoreline.

Bothy Be Wast

Really get away from it all in this unique secluded bothy tucked away on the west coast of the Whiteness peninsula on the shore of the beautiful Stromness Voe. Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sleeps up to 4 persons with power supplied via 240V battery power pack. Drinking water will be supplied and shower/sink supply will be topped up as required.
