Sometimes in our lives we come across a place that nourishes our souls and celebrates all that is good and beautiful in our world. The Overlook at Ithaca was truly a retreat for us in every way! Jordan was available by text if we needed anything and always kind and prompt in his responses. To say that the Overlook was clean is an understatement!It is pristine and so thoughtfully and intentionally designed for ease and comfort and rest. When we arrived there was gentle music playing, a personalized welcome note and everything glistened with care and impeccable attention to every detail that spoke to us of such exquisite care and gracious hospitality. The view from the Overlook is breathtaking and we loved being enveloped in the clouds and watching the beautiful sunsets. Our weather was superb as Spring unfolded, but even on cloudy days - the beauty and comfort of this living space is so restful and renewing. Thanks Jordan for this 5 star experience. We hope to visit again someday.

Great deck and view of the lake - peaceful and relaxing. The house had all the amenities we needed - great grill, large sitting area and TV to hang out with family. The kids enjoyed playing in the downstairs area and roasting marshmallows out back.

Betsy Lee is friendly and helpful! She greeted us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable instantly. An eagle perched on a branch less than 100 ft away from the porch, and regularly patrolled the creek over the 4 days and nights that we enjoyed in the subtle creek sounds and early signs of spring. With Rickets Glen close by, this is likely to be a destination we revisit in the future. If you are looking for local things to do, Betsy Lee has you covered… and if you just want to lounge the hours away in the romantic tree nest apartment and porch, she’s more than happy to give you your privacy. Beautiful home and gorgeous location. House is so comfortable and clean upon arrival. Exactly as described! We hiked Rickets Glen and walked along the local dirt roads with our Weimaraner off leash. He loved both! We also enjoyable the serenity at the house. This is an excellent stay if you want to get away for a bit! Don’t think twice!

We had an amazing stay! Sarah the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The house itself was exceptional — spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect space for our family, and we felt right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We love this house! This is our second year staying here, and we hope to make it a yearly visit. It's set in a nicely wooded area with plenty of open fields that often have deer, turkey and other wildlife that make morning and evening appearances. The pond is thriving with small fish, and I felt that the toads had plenty to say about us visiting their space XD and the hot tub just adds another layer to relaxing in nature. We also love that it has an almost-off grid feel while still being able to connect (with upgraded internet from our previous stay!). We watched plenty of movies in the comfortable family room, spent a lot of time chilling at the dining table, and overall was able to relax in a comfortable, clean environment. We would recommend this place 100%!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect getaway to relax and reconnect as a family.

Kelly was very easy to work with and The communication was wonderful. We enjoyed a great stay with friends and felt very comfortable in the home.

A lovely, quiet getaway spot for humans and dogs alike. The sunroom was amazing and the view out of the back was 180 degrees of green fields and an expansive Mountain View. My dogs just stared out the windows like it was “Petflix”. We were about 10-15 mins away from Ithaca, but on the way there was Robert Truman State Park and Buttermilk Falls, plus Ithaca Beer Co and South Hill Cidery. I would highly recommend all of those locations!
