The red house on mountain top road is a great place to stay in cookeville. It is centrally located and about 10 minutes from any part of the town. This was the perfect stay for our little college get together with our friends. We loved everything about our stay, but the best parts were the hot tub (best one I’ve ever seen!) the master shower, and the indoor outdoor fireplace. It was so awesome to be able to turn it on and fight the cold both in the living space after the hot tub and out on the porch while we were hanging out. The view from the back porch was also amazing with the empty winter trees.

Perfect place to stay and explore nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. Everything was exactly as pictured and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied! We had a great weekend at the Evergreen Lodge!

We loved this place. There was so much to do in the area. We loved the setting and the lake around was beautiful! Andrew, the host, communicated perfectly with us. I would recommend this place to others.

Beautiful home on a quiet country road. The Christmas tree they had in the home made the stay extra special. My wife and children really enjoyed everything about the house(especially the hot tub). It felt like our home away from home. We will definitely keep this house in mind on our next trip to visit family. Thanks for giving us such a memorable Christmas TN visit!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful lake home over the weekend and it was nothing short of amazing! The house itself is stunning with breathtaking views and thoughtful decor that leave a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The host truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. Every detail was taken care of. From the welcoming touches to the prompt communication, we felt right at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape. We had a great weekend at Marshall’s place! I was especially pleased with the kitchen. We’ve stayed places where there weren’t enough plates and only a few utensils, and this kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner! The setting of the cabin was beautiful and it was very peaceful. It’s tricky to find the place by using the GPS but Marshall sent really helpful directions. Follow those!! The cabin was clean and comfortable throughout. Highly recommend!

The house was exactly like the description and photos. The house is exceptionally clean, welcoming and spacious packed with all the things a family could need while on vacation. We loved taking a walk every day on the trail, going across to the park to play and being able to walk across the yard to the lake whenever we wanted. The accessibility was amazing for us especially having a child with special needs and needing to be right next to the house in case of emergency. We had a blast fishing, kayaking and swimming. When we weren’t enjoying the lake, we enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub or playing many games of air hockey and corn hole. Jason has thought of every detail that a family could need while on vacation even providing extra toiletries in case we forget them. We will be coming back regularly and are already planning on our next trip!

This place was just as described. A peaceful haven tucked in the woods. The instructions given to us for the road to the house was spot on please heed that warning. The road is a one car road and would be advised to have 4WD or mid size car. But it is so worth it. Just amazing!

Definitely enjoyed our stay here for spring break. Host was very responsive and left thorough instructions which made things easy to navigate. Absolutely amazing views of the lake, and the house was equally as beautiful. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a serene, quiet, and secluded stay.

Wonderful 2 night stay for our family of 6! Everyone loved the space, extra soft blankets, and the hot tub. Decor was beautiful, had everything we needed, and view was amazing! The kids enjoyed having their space in the loft, with a TV too! Had a great day hiking at Fall Creek Falls!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The decor was stylish, the beds and couches were super comfortable, and the hot tub and game room were a blast. The kitchen amenities were much better than at other places we have stayed at before. The high quality toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch too! Our family of 5 was very comfortable here and would highly recommend!

A great mini vacation get away! Home was clean and has a beautiful view of the sunrise.

My family did a last minute weekend away here coming from Nashville. The place was great, the interior was very clean and you could tell they take great care in every detail. The kitchen had everything we needed and my kids had a blast with all the games and making s’mores at the fire pit.

We wanted a short getaway to explore the waterfalls in the area and Paula's house did not disappoint! Beautiful inside and out. The inside is exactly how the pictures look - each room should be in a magazine. The outside was so peaceful - view of the lake and we were able to relax in front of the fire pit. Paula was also great with recommendations on where to eat, as well as any other questions we had. Communication was extremely quick! We did have one small issue and that was taken care of right away - quicker than expected! We highly recommend Paula's place and will definitely stay here again!
