Swimming, walking, cycling, kayaking all on the doorstep.

Ideal for family getaways or small reunions ... for folks who love walking, hiking, cycling, exploring, cooking (our kitchen is great for foodies!) and just chilling - the perfect base to explore this fascinating region of the south of France, the heart of Cathar country.

Chalet Salamandre

Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht en het comfort van dit stijlvolle chalet. Zeer geschikt als romantisch uitje of even bijkomen in de natuur met je gezin. Wij zitten op 650 meter hoogte, in een hete zomer is het altijd iets koeler dan in het dal en met een briesje, heel aangenaam. In de nacht koelt het meer af en is het lekker slapen. Een airco hebben wij niet nodig. Honden zijn welkom, € 15 per verblijf. Voor de winter is er een houtkachel. Wij leveren een kruiwagen met stookhout voor €15.

De fauna en flora zijn er zeer rijk: de plaats staat bekend om de overvloed aan paddenstoelen, wilde orchideeën, … Tussen groene weiden, varens en dennenbossen. Je bent autonoom en wordt prettig ontvangen in een schitterende omgeving. Het huis is gerenoveerd, met een capaciteit van 2 tot 4 personen plus klein kind.

The studio has a bed-sitting room with comfortable double sofa-bed, folding table and chairs, Wi-Fi and TV (with Netflix), and an adjoining bathroom with shower, basin and w.c. The separate kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, and plenty of cupboards. Sliding glass doors open onto your private terrace, with table and chairs for eating outdoors, and sun-deck to relax on.
